It's a little over an hour in length.
Well, unfortunately, I won't be able to see it . Would you consider a synopsis or a sketch of what was said?
By the way, Merry Christmas
The author speaks about his book for about 15 minutes and then answers questions from the audience. You can tell he is still very emotional about his experience in Iraq. You can watch it via Real Player. Just go to the "Live Streams" for C-SPAN2 here:

Do you know how this lines up with the story told in Bing West's book, "No True Glory?"
Sure don't.
This was great!
I watched it twice.

Bing's talk is here.
Thanks, this is terrific!
I watched most of it--
Just made me angry--the MSM have to go out of their way not to be heralding this author and his book about his experiences with our troops in Iraq...
He couldn't have been more positive about what he witnessed our men (and women)doing.
Do you know if these are ever repeated?
self ping for later.
For C-SPAN, the only way I know of is to check the weekly BookTV schedule. The link at 8 will get you this one right now.
Thank you.
Bump.
Just a footnote for this thread, in case it’s of interest to you. I had lunch with Pat back before the book came out, because I was at a Time of Remembrance ceremony in D.C. and happened to be accompanying the mother of Michael Hanks and the parents of Nathan Wood, both of who where lost in that battle and described in the book. I didn’t really comprehend what was going on, but was impressed by Pat’s obvious sincerity and you might say sad demeanor.
Fast forward to last week - Pat was a speaker at the MarineParents.com annual conference in Arlington this past weekend. As luck would have it, I was able to get Col. Willy Buhl, the Marine who was the Battalion CO at that battle, to the dinner. He gave an impromptu introduction that was just fabulous, and Sean Stokes’ Mom was with me as well. It was a true “WOW” moment, one I’ll never forget. Both Pat and Col. Buhl are very special people.
