Black American Muslims have always put Islam above color and heritage. Arabs and Muslims sold slaves and indeed still do long after the white Europeans and white Americans did. Black African slavery to the new world was largely ended because of the campaigning by white British Christians of an Evangelical bent. Today, as you probably know, black African Christians are brutally treated by Muslims with Darfur being a splendidly ignored example, and not a peep is heard from American Muslims of any color, or for that matter many self-proclaimed black American leaders who are ostensibly co-religionists of the victims in Darfur or many other parts of Africa. It's an interesting fact to that Christianity may be saved by black Africans who remain committed to an Orthodox non-watered down religion.

This comes under: "I could give a #@$% what he thinks." In fact, given that a fundamental Muslim tenant is the establishment of Shi'i Law as the basis for governance, but elected officials are to defend and protect the Constitution and the laws of the land, I don't even understand how he can be sworn in, Koran or no Koran.
