My dad wound up the cook for a houseful of fellow students -- he said he did it 'cause he didn't have to clean up at all.
He is STILL a wonderful cook - at 82 he bakes home-made bread from scratch for Christmas presents (no bread machine for him!) and his Italian dinners are to die for.
What wonderful memories you will always have of dad !!!!!
I would rather have a gift of homemade bread from Dad than anything else....Italian dinners....yum
