It would have been appropriate for these morons at TSA to have shown some measure of sensitivity to the mom/wife of a GI deployed to Iraq with three children; all under five years. One was an infant in a carrier, the second approximately two and a half and the third maybe five. She was burdened with diaper bag, formula, toys and the myriad other necessaries of that situation. She was returning to Fort Stewart, Ga. from a visit to grandma for Thanksgiving. Why else would she be carrying a bottle of formula, another of liquid hand cleaner and pink Johnson's baby lotion?

As might be expected of these clowns at TPA, many of whom do not speak English, had her practically strip, they dug through the diaper bag, made her unwrap the kids' toys, and generally dragged her through a series of indignities and foolish suffering. Yep, she sure looked like a terrorist to any keen observer.

Meanwhile, immediately in front of me and my partner, we were on our way to a hearing in Atlanta, two Arabic speaking, obviously middle eastern males passed right through as though they were TSA executives known to the inspectors. I said something of an inquisitive nature to a TSA supervisor at a desk beyond the ckeck points. He threatened me with ''interference with the TSA'' and immediate arrest if I persisted in my questioning.

We are very fortunate indeed to have these guardians of our safety and freedom laboring diligently and intelligently for us.
