I don't go to a lot of movies Sir Francis and I haven't seen that series.

Thank you for your feedback, though.

Perhaps because you are a "closet" Bleeding Heart Liberal?

I think they are doing all they can do.

It isn't a matter of trying to avoid making them angry. They are already angry. They have already pledged our destruction.

It's a bit like bombing a Nazi ball bearing plant and worrying about making Hitler angry. Hitler was already determined to do what he was doing. The sooner he is stopped the less carnage there will be.

I have suggestions... but, I have been told those could get me banned from here...

The only thing that matters is the total destruction of Islam (not necessarily just people).

Mecca is central to Islam, without it Islam could not exist.

Throw the Ring of Power into the fires of Mount Doom and the Dark Tower of Sauron comes crashing down.

You guys (and gals) really need to read the Lord of the Rings or see the movies... It is uncanny how it resembles the fight against Islam...

Ramsey Clark needs a gig.

Yeah, something like this flounder gig:

12" long!

(But I'm not advocating violence. Yeah, that's the ticket. Not advocating violence.)

I still think it's crazy handing him over to the Iraqis. The risk he'll "escape" is too great. But one thing would justify it; namely, knowing that they would skin him alive before hanging him. Said skinning might be taking place right this minute, as we speak.

Sorry, can't help but be cheerful in the morning.

U.S. takes out Iran's nuke sites with an air strike. President Imanutjob unsuccessfully tries to launch a war...Iranian gov't collapses. Political re-alignment in Iran.

Saudis, Egypt, and Jordan make grumbling noises but are gleeful that Iran is defanged.

Syria pulls a Libya and surrenders the nuke stuff it got from Saddam pre-invasion.

Hezbollah and Hamas launch unsuccessful attacks on Israel. Butts thoroughly whipped.

Bonus prognostication: Iraq splits into three semi-autonomous regions in a loose confederation. Turkey given assurances re: the Kurds.

You said what I have been feeling/thinking too.

Sometimes when a character/personality has been made to be 'bigger than life' and Saddam certainly maintained a 'bigger than life' persona one can feel uneasy when that person is brought down to real size.

I am hoping this is why I am feeling very uneasy about his immenent punishment. That it is because I have subscribed to him a stature that he was undeserving of and not because his death will be a signal to radical factions in the Middle East.

There are reasons for which they are trying to keep his hanging quiet. We should respect those reasons and let not loose lips sink ships. Media coverage of the event needs to be blacked out.

If there is dancig in the streets after his hanging, then we were right.

If there is violence in the streets after his hanging then we were right.
