My favorite holiday is Hanukkah...

Judas Maccabees against overwhelming, improbable odds, slaughtered the pagan Greeks with their enablers and allies.

A most fitting celebration of superior soldiering if not anything else.

I wouldnt worry about it too much Jerry. Its a fad that will die out. Most of America just chuckles a litle that blacks who observe Kwaanza are 1.Bigots,or 2. Stupid,or a combination of both.

Cultural Marxists are a waste of time... you just hate anything to do with Jewish history. Too bad...

There is plenty of proof of Christ and the events of his time.

You choose not to look for them.

Ignorant people can believe in and celebrate whatever they want. Just don't force their beliefs on me or expect me to show any respect for them.

They can't, because there isn't any. Instead they like to send others on a wild griffin chase.

I hope you are correct. I am tired of this PC MC bull being pushed on us. I guess those on the far left will demand a national holiday for every anti Amwerican ideal or far left way of life they can push. This is out of control.

Maybe they, like many conservatives, realize that these godless based shenanigans are being integrated into the culture and are slowly being FORCED onto everyone.

And how are they being forced on everyone? I don't know anyone who celebrates it, I haven't gotten a single Kwanzaa card, haven't seen any Kwanzaa decorations, nothing. Let those who want to celebrate it, celebrate it. And those who wish to leave it alone, then let them leave it alone. But unless those who are celebrating it start questioning the legitimacy of Christmas then I don't see any need to criticize their holiday. Except to get people's mouth's foaming.

"They are pagan celebrations adapted to serve modern christianity"

I'm amazed that Christians have allowed Halloween to be a pagan celebration. Maybe that is why it is not an "official" holiday.

Most christian churches offer some sort of Halloween celebration. Seems totally contradictory to me, but then there I go again.

Reverend Falwell never ceases say something stupid. What difference does it make that someone has a holiday. No one makes Reverend Falwell or anyone else attend the celebrations.

Stupid is as stupid does. Reverend Falwell does a good job helping people find Christ, but he lacks common, political sense sufficient to speak for his followers in Christ.

"...you just hate anything to do with Jewish history"

I asked you for proof of archeological evidence that you were so sure about. In response to a legitimate question, you attacked me personally and continue to do so.

Essentially, such desperate attacks are the surest sign that you were lying (to begin with), didn't expect anyone to challenge you on the bizarre "facts" that you spouted, and are upset that you have been exposed as a fraud (at least on historical and archeological topics).

QED.

Have a nice day.

I'm amazed that Christians have allowed Halloween to be a pagan celebration.

From the Satanic Bible, by Anton Szandor LaVey:

"Originally, All Hallows' Eve was one of the great fire festivals of Britain at the time of the Druids. In Scotland it was associated with the time when the spirits of the dead, the demons, witches, and sorcerers were usually active and propitious. Paradoxically, All Hallows' Eve was also a night when young people performed magical rituals to determine their future marriage partners. The youth of the villages carried on with much merry-making and sensual revelry, but the older people took great care to safeguard their homes from the evil spirits, witches, and demons who had exceptional power that night..."

You ask to argue for the sake of arguing... all because you have a myopic hatred of anything contrary to your bias against Christians...

You are no different than Rosie O'Donnell who thinks Christians are as bad as the Taliban... you are a kook...
