He's right about Jimmy Carter. Not that he's responsible for it, or it was his intention in any way, but there is a direct linkage between Jimmy Carter's time as president, 9/11, and the world we live in today. Because of Carter, we had the '80's wars of Iran vs. Iraq and Afghanistan vs. USSR, the rise of al-Qaeda and the dominant power now in the Middle East, Iran (well, there is Israel, but they won't hurt you unless there is a solid logical reason to).

So, yes, indeed, if Gerald Ford had won that 1976 election, our geopolitical situation today would probably be much better. Or maybe just the same or even worse, who knows, but I tend to think not.

Ford was an honorable man who made the best of a difficult position, but his comment that there is no Soviet domination of Eastern Europe demonstrated an incredible lack of insight into international affairs. Maybe he would not have thrown the Shah under the bus, maybe he would have reacted decisively to the capture of our embassy. Since it didn't happen, we can't say. All we can say is that Three Mile Island is the symbol of the Carter presidency.

Jimmy Carter. Not that he's responsible for it,

In as much as he failed to take swift and effective action agains the Iranian Islamonazies in '79, he does bear responsibility for the situation we now find ourselves in. Working for the terrorist Arafat and his Fatah killers didn't help matters any either.

Sorry to disagree but Jimmah is one of the more prominent & successful soldiers of the jihad.

Every time he opens his face he underscores it with another disgusting verse.
