Needless to say, the problem of black on black murders, which occur every day in every major inner city in the country is something that will never be addressed honestly. The black so-called "leadership" won't touch it because it doesn't fit in to their blame whitey agenda, and anyone who isn't black who dares try to allude to the problem is automatically marginalized as a racist, so the cycle continues.

Philadelphia is a great example of this. Here is a city with a black mayor, black police commissioner, and a pre-dominantly black city council. The power base is black. There is no white leadership structure on whom to blame the problem, even though some have tried to by saying that one of the reasons for the high crime in Philly is because no one in power cares that only blacks are being killed. Well, to paraphase philly's head muckity-muck, John Street: "The brothers are in charge here."

Memphis Murder Rate Highest in Four Years

158 homicides and counting in Memphis with three full days left in 2006
Police have charged a suspect in the latest homicide.
Brenda Wiggins, 42, is charged with reckless homicide in the fatal stabbing Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 27) of her husband in the 1500 block of Monserrat.
She was arguing with her husband, Lawrence Wiggins, 44, at their home on Monserrat at the time of the stabbing, police said. They believe she swung a knife at him trying to cut his jacket. Instead, he was stabbed in the upper left arm. He died shortly after he arrived at the Med.
Also Thursday, police identified a man whose body was found outside 153 Finlay, near the Fairgrounds, as Eugene Antonio Williams.
Williams, 23, died from a puncture wound to the chest, according to the Medical Examiner's office. That wound was likely caused by Williams falling on a sharp object, according to police. Several sharp objects were found on Williams by police.
The 158 homicides, nine ruled justifiable, make the city's rate higher than it has been in four years.
There were 153 homicides in 2005; 118 in 2004 and 138 in 2003.
City and county leaders have been discussing and changing tactics in the local war on crime. Making the discussion more urgent is the city's ranking in the annual FBI crime report as the second most violent city in America.

It should warrant alot of attention. And Jackson and Sharpton and all the other self and media appointed (because they don't speak for all blacks) leaders should focus their resources toward this problem instead of all the other crap that they focus on.

We DO need to give back. But "give back" means (to me) being an example of perseverance, responsibility and positivity. It means showing young black people that the way out is education and entrepeneurism (legal). It means knowing that you owe yourself something, the government doesn't owe you anything (other than maintaining a standing army to protect your rights)

Black-on-black crime is treated as a given. As long as blacks don't bring their crime to white neighborhoods, they're free to kill each other. That's why liberal judges let these thugs back on the streets. Kids shooting up their high school, a man shooting up a jewish day school are anomalies and liberals jump into action by calling for more gun control and starting the Million Mom March silliness.

These same people don't really know any black people or have any real dealings with normal black people. They only know what they have heard or read. To summarize the problem: If you ever want to know where NOT to go in any city, find the street named after Martin Luther King.

In pretty much any town I've cared to check, it is always the place where the murder rate is highest.

Guess what. White people kill white people too. Some do it for themselves, some hire others to do it. Some white people kill their own children. White people, also kill white people dammit. It's better to remember that that is which is more important in these present times that: virtually any attack on Muslims by non-Muslims "enrages" the Muslim world. Whereas wholesale slaughter of Muslims by Muslims often gets a pass.
