I sure am glad you said that about the VETO.

I think that all of the time...but, I just have always figured thinking conservatives would figure that out!

LOL

Indeed whilst she may not share all the view of the President compared to many others she is indeed a friend of the administration.

Oh..yeah...they already had 3-4 Senators talking about it on the Senate floor today.

All of them have a family member or a really good friend (they say)...that they KNOW would be healed if we just had FEDERAL FUNDING of embryonic stem cell research...even though the results show NO such thing.

*rolling my eyes* I have a friend like that. She always seems to know someone who relates to any political story. I find it a little difficult to believe. Not to mention annoying.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything about embryonic stem cell research that convinces me it would solve the world's problems. I understand that a lot of people really hope it would but the research just doesn't back it up.

" Hey little backward Britain beat you to it as we have already had a women speaker."

Lady Thatcher is leagues above our pitiful Pelosi. We need to learn a lesson from the Brits.

"Both Rockefeller and Byrd look like they've been embalmed."

Forgot Kennedy, at the top of the list.

After looking at that parade of fools and villians, the famous quote from Edward Everett Hale is in order:

"Do you pray for the Senators, Dr. Hale?"

"No, I look at the Senators, and pray for the country."

Mystery, I read an article about President Ford, and he was known for using his veto pen. 'Cause the Democrats liked to do too much spending. He was a fiscal conservative according to the article I read.

President Bush has threatened to use the pen, I hope he does, but the Repubs are just as guilty with the pork.

Definitely. And with Johnson still out, they *barely* have a majority.
