Just send the guardsmen back home. This is an absolute waste of time and was only done to LOOK like GW was doing something about the border problem.
If the guardsmen are not going to be authorized to defend not only themselves BUT OUR OWN DANGED COUNTRY from illegal invasion/incursion - then what is the point. What ever happened to national defense?
Whoever made the order that the guardsmen are not to defend our country with appropriate force should no longer have the job they have. And I seriously men WHOEVER! If this goes to U-KNO-WHO, then so be it.
And if such illegal incursions are dealt with in an appropriate manner, they would soon stop (because most of the folks doing it would be DEAD).
But I figure that it won't take the first 100 days for the patrols to be ended by the NG folks. The fence initiative will be dead (wont' be funded by the lib Pelloozie), and the borders will be as wide-open as ever.
Goodbye America, was so nice knowing you....

Four subjects wearing military-style uniforms, ballistic vests, and carrying AK-47 rifles were observed 76 miles north of the Mexican border. Why is this not at the top of the news?
Maybe they just wanted to pick up their Social Security checks?

Our National Guard guys aren't armed. They called for Border Patrol and SRT but the bad guys were already headed back.

Mexican exploratory group. The next step, since seeing the Guard will have to run, is to shoot to kill. Oh, well, what's a few more bodies before Washington realize that the border is more of a threat than Iran or North Korea. Washington still doesn't get it, the illegals that are killing are already on our streets.
