I know the official policy of Forman is homosexual marriage in the US but what is the status of homosexual marriage in Israel? If anyone knows I would appreciate an answer.

Though a secular state, personal matters including marriage are controlled by the religious institutions. There are 14 or 15, Judaism (not Reform or Conservative), Islam, the rest various Christian denominations. Perhaps Bahai, they've been asking. If you're a Jew you get one wife, and no one will marry you to a non Jew. In Israel, marriages in other nations are recognized. If you're Muslim, you get four, and the kids all get welfare if needed. If a denomination decided to recognize gay marriage, I've no idea what would happen, but my guess Israel's various religious institutions will be behind America's courts on that one.

Gay parades, that's something else.

So in Israel there is no homosexual marriage but in the US Ira Forman and others of the 87% voting RAT want "Gay marriage" here. Do I understand this correctly?
