I am a consultant for a company that recently sold property and now has 1031 money to re-invest. I've told the guy he should be buying HOUSES here in this resort area. He can get seasonal money, year-round money, and property never goes down in value.
He's all for it but he wants ME to manage all these rental houses. Which I might do, I'm thinking about it.
This is the largest property management firm (although they OWN the properties they manage) in Baltimore, Merryland. They own campgrounds, mobile home sites and around twenty apartment complexes in Baltimore.
I know all about rent as I USED to work for them full time. Been there, done that.

We have several valid prosecution for keeping dangerous dogs but because the owner has disputed the distrucition notice the dogs remain in one case a child was nearly killed by a pit bull that there was more than one rumour flying around was involved in illegal dog fighting.
It always seems whatever happens the law protects the ones in the wrong.
