Years ago, a Chrysler guy told me that the main thing that attracted M-B to Chrysler was the Jeep brand. Mercedes had all sorts of plans for the brand, including Jeep resorts, Jeep tours, putting the Jeep name on all sorts of non-automotive products. For some reason, the concept was put on the shelf.

Now BMW is the #1 German car company, even after making a mistake of their own by buying British Leland.

My wife just got me a Jeep branded LED lantern. I think I've seen JEEP bicycles.

Maybe they took it of the shelf?

They're supposed to be putting a MB turbo-diesel in the Jeep Grand Cherokee within a year. We'll wait and see.
