Powerful speech ... strong stuff ... he needs to do that DAILY!!! GWB will do the right thing, right up until the end, even if he is the last MAN standing. Are there any left in Congress who will join him?

Yes, President Bush just said to destroy any support for terrorists coming Iran and Syria. Excellent and Finally.

You have to remember that you have Democrats in Congress and Democrats in the news media who are working 24/7 to defeat this policy. So put the blame where it belongs. On these Democrat Copperheads who put their own ambitions first.

The joker in the deck is whether Iraq will perform on its promises, whether it has the will (does Maliki have the will?), and whether it has the capacity to do so. I think it more likely than not, it/that they will not. One can only hope that the odds are better than I see them, much better. As the WSJ article pointed out, the downside is a regional conflagration, with everyone free lancing in a desperate effort to secure their position. It will be simply awful, in all liklihood.
Durbin's speech was well within his capacities, in other words, boring and empty and meaningless.

I didn't listen to a single word he said. He's a disgusting human being and I detest him with every fiber of my being.

Who the heck is Durbin talking to? Didn't anyone tell him to look at the red light on the camera?
To: Mo1
Fox had him on, too. I turned them off and went to Food Network.

None of the networks are carrying Durbin! LOLLOL! I normally listen to CNN, the only American cable I can get... but all of the Detroit networks had this on, so I left on Detroit's Fox t.v. network, with Shep Smith. I don't know if this is separate from the American cable broadcast, but they didn't carry Durbin.
Ah, now time for the last half hour of Deal or No Deal. Time to really get down to business. ;)

Fox Broadcast Network has gone to a sitcom. No Dem response is being played.
Looks like Fox is relegating the Dems to Fox News Channel.
