They would not get anywhere with people I go to church with. We are very conservative.
I used to be naive and think all churches were good but recent events in my life and news like this convinces me that there are huge "churches" in this country that are completely void of the Holy Spirit and whose leadership financially prospers from fleecing the flock of their "tithes".
I'm thinking that it's the American Baptists - the liberal denomination among the Baptists - that will probably be involved in this and that few if any Southern Baptists will be taken in. The American Baptist Churches have many of the same problems with liberalism as do the Episcopalians, United Methodists, United Church of Christ types, Presbyterian Church-USA types, and Evangelical Lutheran Church types.
One is a terrorist sympathiser and the other one is a murder; rapist; liar; thief; both of whom are the highest reguarded members of the DemocRATic party...that right there should tell ya all something.....

The Bible DOES, however, take a rather firm line about those who preach a false Gospel, which is almost certainly at issue with Jew-Hater Carter and If-it-Feels-Good-Do-It Clinton.

Who better to try to change a religion to condone backstabbing and sexual harassment than these two?

Carter is either suffering from dementia or he's just plain insane. Either way, he's an embarrassment for the Liberals and for the country. He and Pelosi make a good pair; they're both wackjobs.

It makes perfect sense from their perspective. You have two of the worst Presidents of the modern era trying to destroy the "religious right" from within. Get these people to not care about family morals or what the Bible actually says (coming to you from the man who is not sure what the definition of "is" is), and you take away a huge chunk of the Republican party.
The Bible does talk about false teachers...who better to convince fools that the Bible doesn't mean what it says (for political gain to boot)? Satan is alive and well.
The Christian credentials for the "Shan" (previously known as the "Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001") and that well-known benefactor of mankind, Jimmy Carter, have always been suspect. As Christians, both of them make darned good Muslims. They are BOTH total counterfeits.
