'Explosion' at US Athens embassy
An explosion has been heard in the US embassy compound in the Greek capital, Athens, reports say.
Police have surrounded the building and cordoned off the nearby area as they begin to investigate the disturbance.
There was no immediate information about what caused the suspected blast, and no word on any damage or possible injuries.
Fire engines rushed to the scene, amid reports of a third floor blast shortly before dawn, AFP news agency said.

An explosion ripped through the US embassy compound in central Athens on Friday, a police source said.
Police cordoned off all roads around the embassy.
Police officials at the scene said that whatever caused the explosion damaged the official embassy sign outside the mission, but there was little other indication of the extent of damage inside.
There was no immediate word on whether there were any casualties.
