MY Gawd. There are many, many, many Confederate Soldier Statues in the Southern State. Most are on Court House Grounds. They are haunting to look at. The man with his rifle held by the barrell with the stock on the ground. The haunting thing is the eyes. The gaze in far away look and all are placed facing due South. There are Confederate Flags hung by the Statues. They are a part of history. Should we tear down everything that some do not like. Or should we preserve history. There is one such monument and flag in the very small town I grew up in. It is still there as it was when I was a child. The eyes still haunt me.

Same in my town. And the same on the grounds of our state capitol. They even have a statue to honor Confederate women there. I drive by the one in my town every Sunday on the way to church. Most folks in this town wouldn't cotton too well to folks taking that statue down.
