Sandy Berger: What Did He Take and Why Did He Take It?(Sandy Burglar)
Real Clear Politics ^ | January 15, 2007 | Ronald A. Cass

Some things cry out for explanation. Like finding $90,000 in marked bills in a Congressman's freezer. Or finding out that a blue-chip lawyer who held one of the most important jobs in the nation was willing to risk his career, his livelihood, and his liberty to steal, hide, and destroy classified documents.

We all have a pretty good idea what the money was doing in Representative William Jefferson's freezer. But the questions about President William Jefferson Clinton's National Security Adviser, Sandy Berger, just keep piling up.

It's time we got some answers.

...Vote for Conservative canidates.

The game now is to have you vote against a candidate never for someone. The RINO's can only get elected if they can paint themselves as the lesser of two evils - we will continue to drift to socialism and tyranny as long as we buy it.

How many RINO governors are going to sign a mandated health insurance bill? Mit and Arnold both seem to want to tax breathing, but we are supposed to happy about this tyranny because it is a republican tyranny and not the democrats?

Face it - America has lost its stomach for liberty and righteousness.

The insiduous part of this Burger affair is not that he may have stolen and destroyed sensitive information, but that he is not prosecuted for it by the RINOs. It seems that we have only one political party representing only a part of the American people.

"What was on the copies he destroyed? Handwritten notes from Berger, the President, or some other official? Observations that would be embarrassing to them ...?"

The simplest explanation is that Burglar removed copies with marginal notes which would show that clinton people had sought to 'set the incoming administration up to fail' in tracking and opposing Bin Laden and the terrorists. Additionally, it is likely that ANY reference to previously mischaracterized events (such as OKC and Flight 800) which truthfully identified them as terrorist attacks with ME connections had to be 'cleansed' from the archives because the clinton administration spent so much effort to protect the truth when the events took place and the clintons/democrats didn't want their fecklessness to be exposed with elections in the balance.

Burger committed very illegal acts to cover for his masters. He will be rewarded by her lowness when she is elected to rule this nation. No one wants to consider what this typically criminal democrat may have planted in the archives! Stealing isn't the only behavior the democrats feel they have the right to commit in opposition to Republican governance. That they continue to get away with such gross criminal behaviors is a testament to the fecklessness of Republicans, to our great distress as a nation.

I'm not sure why this story is getting so much coverage as of late - I think alot of media people have been reading some of recent FR threads about it, and are tagging along.

there isn't much new in this story, we've known what Berger took for year - and have had to draw inferences regarding what it likely contained, as pointed out in many of the posts here.

It is Berger's actions, and what was contained in those drafts of the after action report for the millenium bombing - that hold they key to events leading up to pre 9/11.

For example, the papers which contained handwritten notes in the margins,

I was surprised to read recently in the Wikipedia article on Sandy Berger, which quotes both the prosecutor and the National Archives inspector, there there were no handwritten notes on the documents removed by Berger. The prosecutor called this "an urban myth".

I have to say I agree it is extremely disturbing.

I sometimes wonder if President Bush has any effective control on his Administration. It seems it is either remained hopelessly penetrated by the Klinton Krime Family (It takes A Village Liberal To Raze A Child Country) or there is something Machiavellian afoot,... or Bush is ignoring these appalling crimes for some unknown personal reasons.

None of the options seem good.

It seems to be the Machiavellian part that is being played out. And yes, Bush seems to allow the democrats to get away with criminal acts.

The prosecutor called this "an urban myth".

The prosecutor (and everyone who has helped Sandy Burglar to slide) is dishonest, incompetent, corrupt, and/or downright STOOPID. Earth to DOJ: you have NO IDEA what the Burglar destroyed because you have only his utterly worthless 'word' about what he destroyed. He was rooting through non-inventoried items for at least two sessions before the National Archives staff even thought to try to record his mis-deeds. But use your feeble brain, DOJ-types, for what would Sandy Burglar be willing to risk his career, his finances, his very freedom????? Certainly not to destroy identical draft copies that revealed nothing embarrassing to the Clintonistas. Come on DOJ and MSM frauds, are you really as pathetic and STOOPID as you seem to be, or are you simply in on the Clintonista scam?

I think you hit the bullseye with this explanation on Berger:

The simplest explanation is that Burglar removed copies with marginal notes which would show that clinton people had sought to 'set the incoming administration up to fail' in tracking and opposing Bin Laden and the terrorists. Additionally, it is likely that ANY reference to previously mischaracterized events (such as OKC and Flight 800) which truthfully identified them as terrorist attacks with ME connections had to be 'cleansed' from the archives because the clinton administration spent so much effort to protect the truth when the events took place and the clintons/democrats didn't want their fecklessness to be exposed with elections in the balance.
