Another Colts fan!

Okay, here's where I am....I'm now going to choose them, too (because I like their mascot). :)

You are welcome.
I am a football fan.
My team lost in overtime and so they are out of the playoffs.
I was really hoping the Seahawks would make it to the Super bowl this year, but there is always next year.:)

Just want to say great job on the Opening Post and Pledge.
I used to watch college football and even attended a few games at Georgia Tech then later became interested in the Braves baseball team and attended a fair share of their games. Do not follow sports at all anymore and haven't in years.

I'm impressed by your passion for Peyton, jaycee, and actually it's nice to learn a little about this football stuff. :)

Hey, Jen!! I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering where you've been. Last I heard you were relocating to eastern Missouri. Are you all settled in now?

Ever since 9/11, (professional)sports just don't do it for me.

How true. I also have less tolerance for most sit coms, liberals, liberal talk show hosts and our main stream media. But I hope the games provide some entertainment and frivolous excitement for everyone. It kind of unites us even if we aren't all professional football fans. GO GATORS!!!

Life can be very good. Indeed.

God Bless our heroes: our commander and coach, and men and women in the armed forces. May our true heroes all enjoy watching a good game or two during the playoffs and Super Bowl.

How can anyone be against a team called The Patriots?

"Guess who has the most adorable granddaughter in the whole world???"

I bet that would be YOU!! Congratulations! Enjoy that little one. I know this is a silly question, but....got pictures?

I am finding this thread great as I am hearing from several Colts fans! Yeah!! Peyton's younger brother is the quarter back for the New York Giants. I catch him when I can! His name is Eli Manning. He is good but has a lot of catching up to Peyton. They played against each other earlier in the season and their parents were nervous wrecks. The Colts beat that game but the Giants did fairly well!

Wonderful FUN thread sistah!!!! I too am a Peyton Manning fan so am leaning towards the Colts. Thought it was so cool when he played opposite his brother Eli. BUT...having just returned from New Orleans am sort of hoping the Saints pull it off. The city really can use a "boost". All the folks we encountered in the service industry were so grateful for people visiting...it was very touching and a lot different then the media portrays.

Anyway...GREAT THREAD!!!!

Uh oh! You've been challenged, Jen. Maybe we need a "Proud Grandparents of the Most Adorable Grandchildren in the World" thread to sort this out? LOL.

I believe that 'tis I who have the most adorable grandsons in the world, but I am sure someone will be more than willing to challenge me on that point. ;-)

Great fun thread ,Billie!
The most exciting game I have watched lately was on tape..Texas Tech in a bowl game They were down 38 to 7 and came back to win in overtime. I have Tech graduates in the family and one grandson attends Tech.

I have always enjoyed football..but despite my Cowboy post..pro ball is something I just check in on nowadays ..I used to attend HS, college and pro games.

When I was very little, my mama was explaining why mothers always thought their babies were the most beautiful...she said "even Blackbirds think their babies are the blackest." Its funny we remember those little things.

"even Blackbirds think their babies are the blackest."

That's cute. I've not heard that expression before.
