I agree. If you have a problem with the Town Police Force take it up with the Board of Selectman or at the Town Meeting.
The only problem I might have is using the LEO's as a revenue enhancement organization. Other than that I have no problems with the performance of the Cops in my very small town.

Don't understand revenue enhancement? Any fines for traffic violations, go to the state. The town never sees a dime.
