On the 34th anniversary of Roe V Wade, Chuck Norris presents us with his personal reflections on abortion in America and what it means to be pro-life. I believe as he does, that human life is created in the image of God and has intrinsic valuue. We are not allowed to destroy it for our own convenience or any other reasin, except to save the mother's life and in the case of adults, to enforce the collective of abhorrence of society towards murder. That is the"ethic of life" all decent people ought to subscribe to. Let's become and be a nation, that reveres human life, bfore birth and unto the the time man draws his last breath in this world.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus

Lest we forget the tens of millions of lives that could have been.

Sentenced to death by seven men in black robes.

Love God, love others, do good and hate evil like this.

Nice piece. I don't believe in God, but I do believe that when you're pregnant, a baby will result, period. Having had a baby, I know when you find out you're pregnant, you're not thinking "oh - it's a blob of goo". Your mind races to the end result, a baby, and when women have little problem killing their own offspring, it clearly demonstrates a coldness to society that's really disturbing. This coldness exudes from women, who are supposed to be the nurturers of society. If men can't naturally be nurturers, and women won't be, then how do we eventually survive?

"Empty Playgrounds" reminds me of problems we are having in several upwardly mobile commmunities around here: not enough school aged children to keep the schools open.

Because homes here are priced too high for most families, few of the McMansions are occupied by families with more than one or two children -- if that. Consequently, our school district has already closed one school and is set to close another. The school population is dropping yearly -- 388 down this year and more to go in the coming years.

I imagine that, if polled, most of these folks would unequivocally back Roe v. Wade. The result is that we are having a difficult time paying for our schools, and we also have a population of greedy and self-centered children and young adults too.

One of the earliest social changes brought about Christianity in Roman times is that Christians made infanticide and abortion illegal. That custom (law) quickly spread to the wider community. We have abandoned our roots, and we shall reap the bitter fruit.
