NBC's Anti-Rudy Push Poll
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Definition: Push Poll: "A push poll is a political campaign technique in which an individual or organization attempts to influence or alter the view of respondents under the guise of conducting a poll. Push polls are generally viewed as a form of negative campaigning. The term is also sometimes used incorrectly to refer to legitimate polls which test political messages, some of which may be negative. Push polling has been condemned by the American Association of Political Consultants."
Melissa Russo, political reporter for NBC's NYC affiliate WNBC, recently followed Rudy Giuliani up to New Hampshire. In her report on this morning's "Today," Russo stressed that at a GOP campaign stop, Giuliani failed to inform the Granite State Republicans that "he's far from a social conservative."

View video here.

So Russo decided to take it upon herself to inform them. Here's Russo interviewing a nice Republican lady:

Russo: "Did you know he was pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro gay rights?"

Nice Republican lady: "No-o-o-o."

Russo: "Would that affect your support for him?"

Nice Republican lady: "Ye-s-s."

Have a look again at that definition of push polling. Sound to you like Russo was engaging in it?

You seem like the Alan Keyes type :-)

You know, those who prefer to lecture people than to talk and listen to them? Do you understand what I am talking about?

Sure. And you seem like a liberal, willing to sacrifice - say - babies and other innocent life to get what you want. Do you understand what I am talking about?

Howlin pretty much connects everytime she smacks you down. And you earn everyone of them.

As long as you act like a jerk - you can expect to be treated like jerk. It's not rocket science.

You asked why? Do you remember asking? :-)

I have no idea; as much as they quote it, you'd think they could spell it right.

Well, if you don't like what narses posts, you're going to hate this:
Just how much does Rudy Giuliani support the radical gay agenda? Let's review:

Giuliani received an award from a radical gay group called Empire State Pride Agenda for his work in supporting, passing and then signing New York City's first "domestic partnership" law. This is the precursor to fully legalized gay marriage.

Giuliani has been honored by the even more radical Stonewall Veterans Association - a group formed to commemorate the Stonewall riots of 1969. Go to this page to see their more prominent supporters. Liberal Rudy is listed right along with his kind - the Clintons, Koch, Rangel, Ferraro, Bloomberg, Nadler, Cuomo, Lowey, and a whole list of similar northeast liberal scumbags. He is also on a shorter list of liberal scumbags who are Honorary Members of the group.

Here's Giuliani's letter supporting the radical gay group. Note the date, letterhead, and signature. This was AFTER his term as Mayor. So, those who want to pretend that he HAD to do a bunch of pro-homo stuff because he was Mayor can't excuse this one away.

Here's one he sent to the riot-born, radical rump rooters while Giuliani was Mayor:

And still one more:

They LOVE Giuliani! Here's a pic of the Stonewall Veterans officers laughing it up with Giuliani in Gracie Mansion in 1999. Notice the drag queen planting a big smooch on him.

Here's a quote from their website about how well received Rudy Giuliani was at a gay pride parade in New York:

The Mayor was with the S.V.A just three days later leading the annual New York City Gay Pride Parade for part of the parade route. When he used to march with the Log Cabin Republican boys, the Mayor unfairly got many boos and hisses from the spectators. In sharp contrast, while Rudy was with the Stonewall veterans and the unmistakable blue classic convertible "Stonewall Car", he received only cheers and kisses from the crowds!! And, so Mayor Rudy gladly observed and verbally commented on the very welcomed change!

Even openly gay former Congressman Jim Kolbe was never this pro-radical gay agenda. I can't think of any other Republican that has gone this far into supporting the radical gay agenda and the groups behind it.

The Stonewall Vets, by the way, have partnered with International A.N.S.W.E.R. in opposing the war. This is one of the signs they use in their anti-war protests.

When you do any real research on the subject (and I've done some of it for you here) you will also see how the radical gays and social leftys LOVE Giuliani and how he loves them right back as he does their bidding.

You're a breathe of fresh air. I think this guy wants to come out of the closet.

I don't approve of the homosexual life style but they can be converted.

It's not a "push poll"; it's called "doing a public service". Rudy Giuliani is a pro-abortion, pro-gay, anti-gun, tax-raising, big-government, liberal, wingnut. He's in the wrong party. And now the "nice Republican lady" knows this.

So you support Alan - the street preacher - Keyes?

I don't believe that you even know a thing about Keyes. While I don't follow him closely, and would not support him for President at this time (he's not running anyway) I can tell you that his conservative credentials are pretty good. I urge you to check out his Wikipedia entry to learn more. Some highlights show that he has a doctorate from Harvard University in Government Affairs, that he served as an ambassador to the United Nations during the Reagan Administration, and was appointed by Ronald Reagan to be a U.S. Assistant Secretary of State. He has served as the President of a number of conservative organizations. I would suggest that your statements about Keyes are spoken in sheer, unadulterated ignorance and urge you to learn something before you make a further fool of yourself.

Didn't read it. I don't read the spam posts. But I know that Rudy is pro-gay and pro-choice and I am not bothered by it. I don't admire bigotry.

How do you feel you are doing cracking down on homosexuals and preventing abortion? Have you had any success at all in the last 25 years?
