Uh, OBAMA is the one who dragged his parents into this by writing a series of lies about his father in his book. Perfectly appropriate to call out his distortions since he chose to make that part of his "story" for running for POTUS.

As the son of drunk and abusive parents, who didn't pass any of it along to my own children, I find articles dragging in ones parents or children to be irrelevant and disgusting.

The problem is that Obama's parents DID pass it on to their kid though. Obama got his nutty marxist politics from his Unitarian flower child mother Ann Dunham. He also seems to have inherited a perpetual victimhood mentality from his father, and just like his father he sees "racists" lurking behind every corner.

I think that blue was always the color of the party holding the White House in presidential election years. So in 2000, the democrats were blue, but in 1992 the republicans were blue. I think it just wasn't as noticable before, because we didn't have so much internet and cable news discussing blue vs. red states.
