Radical Left Set To Defile (WALL) The Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Passing the word received on the next anti-war debacle to be held, of all places, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial!

As the email below states we need to enlist legions of veterans to form a wall of honor to prevent the wall's use as a backdrop and defilement by the radial left.

It is a place of honor, not a stage prop for protesters. It should be respected and revered not prostituted for political purpose.(Ala, Slick Willy one Memorial Day)

Antiwar Rally Set For Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Are we ready to mount Operation Honor Locked In Stone to counter such an affront? Pass the word to all Vets on this.

I propose we form an "Honor Guard " Of tens of thousands of Veterans to form a "human perimeter" around the Wall and keep the antiwar crowd far,far from it. Let them use a less scared landmark for their assembly point and do no further dishonor to those on the wall that have done during that war and afterward.

Anyone up to organizing such a daunting task?

Organizing, communications, press releases, enlisting radio and TV media talk show hosts, logistics, permit applications, etc. will all have to be handled, and handled very quickly to pull it off.

Lets get this passed to all the veteran and active duty and like-minded community networks, websites, etc. and lets see what we/they come up with?

I hope you get enough to guard the Wall two-deep.

WTF? Why would someone want to deface a place of mourning? The older I get the more I just do not understand.

The Left defiled the Vietnam War Memorial before it was ever built.

I will sign up and take time off work to fly there and stand there at the VietNam memorial in direct opposition to those traitorous punks whenever needed.

Anyone attempting to defile that sacred monument should be (reference to violence omitted to prevent deletion, per Free Republic regulations).

If true, it is the first sign that the lunatic left in American have become suicidal...

An act such as defiling the Wall, will absolutely lead to violent reaction from some pretty dangerous folks...
Bet on it.

On March 17, 2007, the 4th anniversary of the start of the criminal invasion of Iraq, tens of thousands of people from around the country will descend on the Pentagon in a mass demonstration to demand: U.S. Out of Iraq Now! 2007 is the 40th anniversary of the historic 1967 anti-war march to the Pentagon during the Vietnam War. The message of the 1967 march was "From Protest to Resistance," and marked a turning point in the development of a countrywide mass movement. In the coming days and weeks, thousands of organizations and individuals will begin mobilizing for the upcoming March on the Pentagon. Organizing committees and transportation centers are being established to bring people to the March on the Pentagon. The March 17 demonstration will assemble at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (Constitution Gardens) at 12 noon in Washington, D.C.and march to the Pentagon.

A complete list of moonbats for your information. Do what you gotta do.

I wonder if the MSM will cover it if the anti-war nuts spray paint the wall? They didn't cover the spray painting last week. Had to hear about it from Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and other talk radio hosts.

This is somewhat ironic because the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was considered a leftist memorial at first because it seemed portray the soldiers as victims rather than heroes, there was no explanation of what the war was about and the statue of the three soldiers wasn't added until several years later.

The Park Police will not allow them to gather on the memorial grounds, but just in case - bookmarked.

BTW, Clinton only showed his face that one time in 93. It may have had something to do with the fact that approximately 200 of us, on command, did an about face and turned our backs on him as he started to speak. He never came back.

http://digital.lib.lehigh.edu/trial/vietnam/files/round3/hydetoreagan.pdf

This is a letter by Henry Hyde and signed by several other Republican congressmen to Reagan criticizing the design and asking Interior Secretary James Watt not to approve it.
