The author said they were fair on both sides. I did not see it so I can only go for what is written. Did you see that episode. Do you have a different angle or agenda about this particular episode?

What did the former GOP Senator who stars on the show have to say?

Law and Order is a spokeman for the liberals. I disagree. In the early '90's when the show started, it was definitely a liberal fantasy show. In the past 5-6 years, it's undergone a transformation of sorts. Where Jack used to be an unabashed ex-hippie, he's now considered a pro-death penalty law-and-order guy. Also, with the addition of Fred Thompson, the show has definitely taken a conservative turn in at least the opinions of some of the characters. I started watching the show on TNT while recuperating from a pulmonary embolism in the hospital (4-6 hours a night every night). You could see the difference between the shows after 9/11 and before.
