While it is right and prudent to fear our islamist enemies in Iraq and elsewhere, we face a domestic enemy even more dangerous, as this enemy can influence public opinion through the power of a sympathetic mass media and also has within its power the ability to alter the conduct of this war or put a stop to it altogether.
This is a two-front war, not one.

That statement was a BIG gamble - and not a bright one. Hillary, like her husband, lies for reasons of political expediency at the drop of a hat.
Didn't she at one time promise not to run for president?
Like everything else she promises, she'll keep this promise if it's the politically expedient thing for her to do.

The West is enervated and frivolous right now, but it retains, deep down, a bred-in-the-bone capacity for overwhelming violence. That statement, for some reason reminded me of something I read one time. It went along these lines: "There is nothing more dangerous and ferocious as a pissed-off American GI."
