It seems that the liberals like Goodwin are trying to steal the legacy of Abraham Lincoln from the GOP. I read a while back that McGovern is thinking of writing a bio of our Lincoln. By both party and philosophy, Lincoln belongs to Republicans and conservatives rather than the dividers and masters of the zero sum in the Dem party.
