His logo reminds me of a lifesaver. (Maybe it's meant to be a subliminal message? LOL))

Yeah..you are right, that is the way it is...and with that attitude, let me introduce you to the next POTUS, Hillary Clinton.

Dang...is it only the dem party that is supposed to get MAD and want to protest, and ask for change??

What a sorry lot we are, if we just sit back and take it.

Probably not so subliminal...good catch.

He is going to be the "new" man from Hope...except his will the the emotional, spiritual kind...LOL

BTW...since there is so much talk about his past..and whether he is a closet Muslim or not...I would expect him to give a LOT of campaign speeches in churches.

Comparing Obama to Honest Abe

Well, now, that's an odd considering Lincoln was completely committed to fighting a war that was unpopular for more than four years...while Obama wants to cut and run and surrender to just about anyone he can find to wave the white flag at.

I guess the comparison is that they were both very committed...one to total victory, the other to complete defeat.

I wonder if Obama knows that Springfield, Illinois was also the starting point for the Donner party ?

April 26th, 2007..2+ months...Dem candidate debate at black college in S Carolina...Hillary is a terrible, shrill speaker..Obama can really make up ground...they'll be on the same stage, side by side...

That is one to mark on the calendar. I believe when it gets down to cases, the Dems are going to throw her under the bus. Too many skeletons / negatives.

Alan Keyes is one of the brightest, most articulate men in America.

I gave a LOT of $$ to try to help Alan at least get the message out. I do not regret that. However, he is unelectable, pretty much for the same reason I think Hillary is.

Way to many negatives. Both have terrible speaking voices / styles.

Amazing what one can learn on this board!

Alferd Packer for President!

Funny, but I've had thousands of people tell me that Alan is the best speaker they've ever heard. But hey, no accounting for taste. I just think you're in a minority. Most, even his enemies, acknowledge his skills as an orator.

I found his voice just grating and his "lecturing" style left me cold; even though I agreed with almost 100% of what he said.

A real candidate must come across, at some level, as a regular guy. Which is why I believe Hillary is going to crash and burn as she gets more exposure. (shudder at mental image...)

Obama has "it". Neither Kerry, nor Gore nor Edwards has "it".

Right on, Mel - I was thinking that I was in a time warp as most people are beyond that way of thinking, except for Shapton and Jackson - that's how they make a living. If BHO runs as a black man, he will lose - fine with me as he is a democrat, but it's also sort of sad that progress and all the opportunity takes a back seat to the past.

"Obama would be easier to beat than Hillary"

Not necessarily. I've seen data that suggests that, surprisingly, women would be more apt to vote for a black man than a woman. Weird, but it makes sense somehow,

I haven't been this excited since Harold Stassen's announcement.

I remember those innocent days, when we didn't worry about global warming.

Brilliant analysis. Exactly right. The Dems always stir the pot with one of these and one of these at election time.

Hillary will win the nomination and use this rock star as her vice presidential candidate. He will be in every black area of the country. They might only need to vote once to win this time.

And look at what the GOP plans to throw against this juggernaut... Heil Hillary.
