Boy this article really is some of the finest spin I've read in many a day. Just more crap to stir up the nuke Mecca crowd and allow them to thump their chests and go all macho.

If the DHS is doing such a horrible job why haven't we been attacked here in America since THAT day?

Just the sort of "reporting" I've come to expect from WND.

Amen to that. As soon as Israel hit back at Hizb'allah last summer, they were loudly cautioned against "disproportionate" force. Condi especially relished taking a stern line with Israel.

Some wins and losses later, Israel was poised for the largest offensive yet, with thousands of IDF troops in southern Lebanon.... and the U.S. and France at the UN were frantically negotiating a ceasefire resolution.

The vote was taken and Israel complied, its soldiers straggling back into their homeland while the Hizb'allah proclaimed their defiance. . . and their victory.

The "30 day war" ended on August 11, 2006. Unhindered, the Israelis could have smashed Hizb'allah. So, why were they pulled back?

And why did the U.S. support a resolution that proposed to negotiate with Hizb'allah when our policy is "we never negotiate with terrorists?"

within the next year or two he hopes to add 7% more border agents.

Is that 7% enough to keep up with the attrition rate from throwing existing ones in jail for doing their job?

Qur'an:8:7 "Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels out to the last.'"

Oh, Unbeliever, this is not as it seems, when read in the Pure Yemeni Arabic! Any may tell you that is a figurative phrase, meaning to remove all unbelief by converting all unbelievers, thus wiping out Infidels PEACEFULLY.

Qur'an:8:12 "Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: ‘I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers.

Why, my unbellieving brother, surely you see that this is an admonition to ANGELS to utterly destroy the SOULS; the SPIRIT body, in DEVINE Judgement; not a call for The Faithful to carry this out as an earthly act!

Qur'an:8:39 "So, fight them till all opposition ends and the only religion is Islam."

Naturally, this is POETIC, and means to fight with REASON; to fight with LOGIC; to fight with PERSUASSION! It has NOTHING to do with violence!

Ishaq:204 "‘Men, do you know what you are pledging yourselves to in swearing allegiance to this man?' ‘Yes. In swearing allegiance to him we are pledging to wage war against all mankind.'"

Why, my Misguided FRiend, this means that one who swears allegiance to a MAN rather than Allah (Pestilence be upon him!) is an enemy of all mankind. because he is also an enemy of Allah (Pork be upon him!)!

"Religion of peace" indeed. The Koran is what, about 125 pages or so long. About 5 of them contain all that is "peaceful" about Islam. The rest of it tells muslims how to kill, lie, trick, steal, and bash women.

And the above "explications, some of which I have heard from their own mouths, are a perfect example of the lying & tricking they try!

2 John 9-11

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Far too many Christians, in their haste to be PC and "brotherly" forget this, as well as forget who their "brother" is.

They say headquarters has cautioned officials not to describe Islamic terrorism as Islamic and to respect Islam as a "religion of peace."

I think I heard W mention that phrase right after 911.

DHS Headquarters is merely echoing the President's exact words.
My thoughts too. This crapola starts at the top.

Next thing you know, the money budget for the fence on the border will be "redeployed" for a "virtual fence."

With the possible exception of Gen. Petraeus and the surge, it is becoming more difficult by the day to support President Bush and his administration.

I've got it doubly bad down here in Texas. Gov. Perry thinks his win with 39% of the vote gives him carte blanche for the next four years. Then yesterday, Sen. Cornyn disses PM Howard, a good man who's on our side.

I agree with you that we are NOT losing in either Iraq or Afghanistan. Scheuer is wrong about that. But he is correct that the gov't refuses to square with the American people (not that we haven't figured it out on our own.)

Cheers!
