if one hates Jews or Catholics because of their faith it is, correctly in my view, defined as racism... so I think Morris is correct, at least as a matetr of language.
Being Jewish is either a nationality and or a religion.
If someone is hated for being of the Jewish race, which arabs do, thats racism.
If someone is "hated" for their religion, thats bigotry or stupidity.
If someone is voted for or against, because of their religion, they call that discretion.
