Sure, Get the most bang for your buck Pick up an AK (you can get 2 or 3 for the price of an AR-15). AKs, while not as accurate as an AR, are more reliable, and easier to maintain. If you get the 7.62x39 variants the ammo will be cheaper than 5.56mm ammo for the ARs too. 7.62x39 ammo can be had for about $170 for 1000 rounds. Get as much as you can afford.

Don't forget to pick up as many 30 or 40 rd mags as you can get too. Currently Sportsmans Guide has them for around $7 each.

I thought there was a 7.62 ammunition shortages worldwide.... I guess you could buy Wolf, but the prices now appear equal?
