SANTA FE, New Mexico (AP) -- Three CD players hidden under a cathedral's pews blared sexually explicit language in the middle of an Ash Wednesday Mass, leading a bomb squad to detonate two of the devices.

I've had that feeling myself.
Brings new meaning to the term "F" bomb.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found this inappropriately amusing.
Sounds queer to me.
Three CD players placed in a church with foul language is a bit expensive for a practical joke. Maybe they were stolen. Still a pretty silly thing to do, probably a retard who was too stupid to say his penance.
Where were those two Christian and Catholic-hating, non-stop F-bombing John Edwards Presidential Campaign FemiNazi bloggers yesterday?
I'm not even close to thinking that evil is behind this. Childish stupidity would appear to be the more likely culprit.
I confess that what inappropriate amusement I garner from this is 100% related to the priest who officiated at the church I attended as a choir singer in high school.
I was at an Ash Wednesday service last night and don't find this amusing at all.
If this was done at a mosque it would be a hate crime and all over the press. Everyone would be blaming Bush. Hell, lets blame Bush anyway.
The world's going crazy. Fast.
"I'm not even close to thinking that evil is behind this."
As Keyser Söze once said, the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist.
This is a hate crime, not a prank.
Sick, twisted jerks. One way or another, they will get what's coming to them.
If evil had been behind this, they would have been bombs and all the attendees dead or wounded.
Using potty language in church is (IMO) nearly the text book definition of a prank.
This police ninja reaction to a harmless if obscene prank bothers me rather more than the prank itself.
I'm thinking the bomb squad has too much time on their hands...
I just have to laugh about the bomb squad. We really have forgotten how to laugh at ourselves.
This could be a skit on SNL to show how paranoid we have become.
Too bad the jokers didn't try this in a mosque.
