SYDNEY, Australia, Feb. 23, 2007 Vice President Dick Cheney continued his war of words with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in an exclusive interview with ABC News today.
"My statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, is that we will validate the strategy of al Qaeda," Cheney said. "I said it, and I meant it."

And if you have another tantrum, you will get spanked and will stand in the corner
LOL! Not Ms. or Madam Pelosi, or Speaker Pelose...but 'Nancy'.
"Cheney has BALLS!"
Brass ones, that clank together when he walks. That's why I love this man and liberals hate him. An unapolagetic conservative. We need more them.
Right on, Mr. Vice President. Thank you.
Thank God the White House didn't ask Cheney to stand down.
Cheney should get accolades for serving his country as Vice President and putting up with all the liberal and leftist crap, when he didn't have to do it.
Cheney for President.
Pelosi policy = Al Qaeda strategy
The new (Democratic) Math.
I am waiting for the libs to start crying how politics should stop at our shores. You know someone is going to say it.
Just a friendly reminder .. VP Cheney is his own person .. what W says is irrelevant.
My point is ... if Dubya makes nice to Nancy over Cheney's remark it will be perceived as a victory of sorts for the 'Rats. The liberal MSM will push it as a repudiation of Cheney by the President.
The liberals in Congress were saying it when they were backing Clintoon for going to war in Bosnia. Hawks then, nitwits now.
"I am not sure what part of it that Nancy disagreed with," Cheney told ABC News during an interview today in Sydney, Australia. "She accused me of questioning her patriotism. I didn't question her patriotism, I questioned her judgment."
I wish a Republican would come out and question their Patriotism.
Cheney is THE most eloquent stater of simple truth I've ever heard. His brilliant summations of issues and positions - on the fly, leave opponents speechless.
I remember the first time I saw him in an interview, as Defense Secretary on ABC with that mannequin-clown Sam Donaldson. Sam came loaded for bear with all kinds of criticisms of Desert Storm. Cheney didn't counterattack, just merely stated the situation in such a concisely benign and unarguable way as to make any would-be cross-examiner have to go along with it.
The interview ended very amicably with an out-of-ammo Donaldson stacking his papers in brainscrambled fashion as he muttered "Well, yes, I see...and uh, yeah..right. Well uh..thank you Mr. Secretary and uhh...we'll be right back."
And it's good to see he can also fight. Way to go, Mr. Vice President.
Like you, I believe the Democratic leadership is acting treasonously. Their treason does not come from an active interest in selling out our country in favor of another. Their motives are more selfish than that. They want power and they see the way to it as defeating Bush in any way they can - and they don't give a damn about the damage to the country they inflict as the Collateral Damage they supposedly so abhorr.
In defense of those treasonous bastards that actually believe in any principles whatsoever, in their supreme arrogance, they believe that any travesty committed in their slash-and-burn campaign for power is excusable for the higher good they will achieve. After burning down the country, they'll then be then be able to build the "totally like progressive" utopia they long ago envisioned through the clouds of reefer smoke in their ivory tower dorm rooms.
As for the others, they have no such petty illusions. They just want power for its own sake, to make up for being the greedy, miserable zeroes they know they are.
But, of course, you can't tell them that...yet. I think that'll come when events force us all to get REAL serious with these people. For now, though, the way to call them is exactly by questioning their judgement, which forces them to explain how they think their plans of action will lead to...what goal now? Let the hard-edged debates begin - where we corner the little 'rat vermin into explaining themselves.
Not words I hear GOPers saying lately.
Gotta love that gratuitous "Nancy."
