She suggested cognitive behavioural therapy might be an effective treatment. This is what happens when you let the government become your doctor. It's all in your mind and big brother goes in there to make your mind right.

Hardly. Perfectionist types I have encountered are either control obsessed power trippers who believe they have a divine calling and are put here to be some sort of super human hero or they are consumed with climbing the organizational pyramid. In either case they are either delusional whack jobs or consummate opportunists and ticket punchers. In both cases they are among the bigger blights in an organizational culture and do far more damage to the organization than any supposed stellar results that achieve.
