I really want one of those new Kodak printer/scanners...

Based on personal experience, I would suggest the HP C4180 all-in-oner over the Kodak brand.

The HP software is superb whereas the Kodak is...not so much.
The hardware is better too.

Before deciding be sure to look at Canon printers.

I have a Canon printer and it's great!

I was told that the Kodak wasn't coming out until sometime this month. I keep forgetting to look up Consumer Reports on the item, however the ink cartridges are half the price of any other brand.

After all the trouble I've had with HP, I don't know whether I'd buy anything from them again. Price is a big issue as well. The kodak machine costs between 150-300 bucks, and both my printer and scanner are dead.
