Yet when Ross Perot said "You people" or "Your people," it was all over for him. Actually, when he didn't guarantee "giving people the help they deserve" or whatever euphemism democrats use for handouts, it was all over for him.

When did blacks in this country turn towards socialism? Was it under FDR? Because that's when they started voting Democrat--they were Republican before that.

A guy on CNN earlier today said it's arguable that it began with Martin Luther King, Jr. He was arrested for, literally, driving while black, and the Kennedy family stepped in to help him, while Richard Nixon didn't.

so goes the story & it's been "democrats are friends of the black community" ever since
