She sounds like a bad Amos and Andy. By the way, they have Amos and Andy on youtube. The shows from back then make me cringe but I expect that Hillary thinks that all southerners think people with dark skin talk and think like Amos and Andy did.

BTW, I was born and raised in Houston Texas, the last time I heard anyone use the word "nigger" other than black rappers and comedians on TV was about 10 years ago. I was shocked to hear it, it makes the user look stupid.

Speking of black Americans as if anyones color really matters.. On regular TV which I seldom watch I saw a prgram this weekend with Oprah Winfrey where she built a school for African girls in Africa. I'm not a big follower of Oprah. I looked at my wife and said "why didn't she build such a school here?". My wife said "because she could not find kids with the drive in the US that she found in Africa. Most of the kids in the US wanted cell phones, bling-bling and just were not motivated". I was surprised to hear that but my wife follows Oprah and I suppose she knows these things.

I'll tell you one thing, what Oprah did in building that school was impressive. She has some idiot friends like Mandela and Sidney Potier (sp?) but she made her money herself and she can spend it any way she likes. Spending it trying to help Africa by building a school for girls that will grow up to be leaders in Africa was cool.

I saw that show about Oprah and the school. Your wife is correct, Oprah couldn't find kids here who would put education over bling. (I think she was looking to do this for black students in Chicagoland, but I could be wrong. Obviously somewhere there are low income students who would love a good education.)

I was impressed with the poise and drive of those young girls. I can't imagine living the lives that most of them are coming from. There's a lot to diss Oprah about, but not that effort. Many lives will be turned around and I hope the country of South Africa will benefit by having such wonderful, educated, women in its midst.
