So true. I lived there for 13 years; been gone for 15. It was bad for my sanity then; lots worse now. One FReeper reported when they visited, the bumper stickers [Impeach Bush, etc.] were all over the place and they got the finger for using a cell phone (illegal in SF while driving).

Sante Fe is DEFINITELY the “artist colony” of NM, if you get my drift. Nonetheless, I’ll believe their move when I see it. They are like flies hovering around the dung of D.C. They won’t be able to take being out of the limelight.

Of course, maybe they have plans to get involved in Bill Richardson’s political machine.
