Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?
Free Republic seems to ban quite a few of 'legitimate' conservatives for silly reasons maybe close to 30% and it only seems to be getting worse as the issues make us more ornery and divisive.

it is the issues or posters (deliberately) egging some on enough to (hopefully) getting them banned?

I'll add that the bannings have a ripple effect as well. Other posters get frustrated and leave.
