It does in Wyoming.
When the sun goes down it starts cooling off.
It keeps getting colder all night.
When the sun comes up the next morning, it starts warming.
That continues all day.
I think that shows that there is a connection between the sun and the temperature.
The same thing happens in Virginia almost every day ... hmmm, I wonder if this happens elsewhere?
