It looks like a three way dog fight is emerging between Rudy, McCain, and Romney. As a Romney fan it looks like the advertising in selected states like NH an MI are working.

That's not real good news for Mitt. The Romneys are a strong political force in that State, the State in which he grew up . He should have come in first place.

"Michigan is a lib state."

Michigan isn't a liberal state, it has a few liberal citys and a big union membership.

We have a "Shall Issue" CCW law

We banned queer marriage and partnerships

We banned Affirmative Action

Most of Michigan is very conservative.

GOOD, then you and I are posters of a like mind. I do not have a candidate yet, and I have refrained from knocking our candidates knowing that one will be our eventual nominee.

The SPAM here is a complete turn off and it's mostly posted by people who are supposedly supporting other candidates. The mere fact that they're not content to support thier choice and that they feel the need to slam his rivals, speaks volumes to me about how they think their choice is doing. :0)

I don't care who I have to vote for to keep the democrat out of the White House. I will vote for the GOP nominee regardless and once he's determined, I'll fight his detractors here.

Thats right... I must be insane.

The hundreds of other posts I've made around here past few years were a fluke and I must have been drinking or something to ever think that a campaign might want to use a place like FreeRepulic to their advantage like at least one campaign is already openly admitting.

But you are right... to think there might be something shady, nay... to ask if anyone else thinks there might be something shady... is just the epitome of kookery, and even though VANITY deserved to be censored and removed within 30 seconds of posting.

Now please excuse me... its time for my medication.

I might believe you.

Why does it always go blue?

Unions and what?

Obviously, it always goes blue.

Pubbies only hope to win that state.

Inform me.

That about sums it up.

I grew up close to Michigan..North Ohio. Michigan has
changed...very few lucid indivduals..must be the water
in the Lakes...anyhow, all the Unions, etc. have been
going downhill...hence..Michiganders going same way.
So ignore polls, out of this land of Loonies..JK

(though the hunter people seem more overtly aggressive than others)

Really? My perception is the Rudy fans are most aggressive. Point out Rudy is a gun grabber and they come you from all angles.

I think the cross-dressing pictures of Rudy are overdone........

The pics may in fact be overexposed on FR, but they are significant because cross-dressing is very unusual behavior for a presidential candidate.

If Rudy cross-dressed once for sweet charity, it would be amusing. But one has to assume he kept doing it because he enjoyed it.

1) There was an appearance with Julie Andrews at a New York City Dinner

2) There was the SNL appearance.

3) There was another incident where he dressed in drag to do a comedy skit with Donald Trump (in which Trump buries his face in Rudy's fake bosoms).

4) Rudy actually offered to dress in drag for Showtime's Homosexual porn show, "Queer as Folk" (a show which promotes pedophilia)

5) Besides his famous pink gown and Marilyn Monroe wig, Rudy also dressed in drag to appear in a chorus line.

I agree your vanity thread should have stood.

I think it is worth discussing.

Well he is, so I don't know why you'd get that reaction.

He has softened his abortion stance to at least say he'd throw it back to the states (where he would be pro-abortion), but the gun problem is his weakest non-defensable issue at this point and I certainly can see rubbing alot the wrong way.

Its not pointing things like that I'm speaking about... its the posts that attack him personally, and never even mention another republican candidate that is different, or the democrats that are the same. The ones that just tear down... I am highly suspicious of them, both in motive and eventual effectiveness.

Thats what my VANITY was about... asking what everyone else thought, were we being exploited, was FR being played, are people being paid, what about the libs that are on here feeding poison pills to wherever they are most concerned (or all around hiding amidts the 'passionate' sides, leaving a turd here and there just to stink up the place)

Apparently it was so TABOO it was literally removed in less than a minute.

"Obviously, it always goes blue."

It does only in races that are statewide and in some cases not even those.

Until 06 Republicans controlled the state Congress and Senate, AG and Sec of State.

The Rats now have control of the House and Governor, thats it.

Remove Detroit and Michigan is as conservative as Utah.

Last year my district booted a RINO Congressman ( Joe Schwartz, who was McCain's 2000 MI campaign Mgr) and sent likely the most conservative Republican now in Washington to replace him.

Jackson, Mi. is the birthplace of the Republican party.

Hillsdale college is rated as the most conservative in the nation.

Repost it in the Smoky Back Room, or ask Mod to see if that would be more to his/her taste. I think it is worthy of discussion, even if some think the post was tin-foilish.

Since Romney's father was governor of Michigan, third place isn't exactly a great show of support.

The top 5 Gop candidates have had 11 wives.

I have been reading about Henry VIII. He only had six wives. And only beheaded three of them.

Heh, no I won't do that anyway, but thanks for the kind words.

I got banned once... I was trying to post Iraq news in the news section, but it was technically coming form blogs (iraqi and milblogs) and kept getting removed for being the in the wrong section.

One time, I just hit back and posted again... that was it. BAM... banned. And I do believe I deserved it... intentionally posting out of section like that was pushing the line. I just felt so angry the MSM wasn't reporting that news, and didn't understand why it had to be CNN or ABC to go in the 'news' section. Still thats no excuse.

I was able to do some PM'ing and got my account restored (I'm attached to the nick) and I don't want to blow it again.

Someone felt it had to go, and felt about it strongly enough to do it faster than I've ever seen done, so I'll take that as a hint. Valid or otherwise... they run the show here.

I'll defend him against the personal attacks and endless drag photos around here.

Activism becomes a little joyless when you are reduced to defending transvestites for president.

You should work on your sense of humor.
