Makes some sense...MI trends liberal, doesn't it?

Why wouldn't they prefer someone like McCain/Feingo...I'm sorry, did I let that slip?

Michigan has open primaries. Wonder if just republicans were polled or all voters......or adults.

No debates with all the GOP candidates means no votes.

Sorry, Romney is at 21% not 20. Anyway, here is the poll question:

If you were to vote in a Republican presidential primary or caucus in Michigan, which of the following candidates who have already announced or may announce they are running would you vote for if the election were held today? [READ & ROTATE 1-5 BELOW]

30%
John McCain

26%
Rudy Giuliani

21%
Mitt Romney

16%
Newt Gingrich

2%
Fred Thompson [volunteered]

1%
Sam Brownback

4%
Undecided

Who cares... FR is becoming a pathetic joke these days...

Bunch of paid staffers running around pimping their guy by trashing the rest of the field.

And post about it, and it gets pulled in 30 seconds.

What a shame...

Its a three-dogged race cause there's three dogs in the race. If Thompson was running then he would take a lot from both Romney and Guiliani. I wish I knew what Newt is thinking. Keeping himself in the mix is simply a distraction and he does not have a chance this time around.

Good news. Romney, the best candidate in the race, is moving up! : )

I'd rather be told to shut up by McClam than to give up my guns for JulieAnnie. My weapons have a significant voice of their own even when I'm silent.

Any poll this far out is STUPID.
I don't know why people waste the time and bandwidth even posting them. Wake me up a year from now.

If Gingrich announces he's in, he'll leap right to the front.

Either Fred Thompson has no chance or too few people even know he might be running yet.

Or...this poll is meaningless since it shows McCain leading.
