In a shocking development, 'Fox and Friends' cutie Kiran Chetry has been canned. Apparently the William Morris Agency tried to play hardball with the Fox News Channel, and it struck out big time - with its client Chetry, getting axed from the network.
William Morris super-dooper-agent John Ferriter told the network to dump the unfunny and very wooden Gretchen Carlson, co-anchor of the higher-rated weekday "Fox & Friends," so that Chetry could slide into the slot.
Ferriter, who'd recently started representing Chetry, had his backstabbing request backfire on Thursday, when Fox execs fired off an irate letter to Ferriter saying they were terminating their contract with Chetry for the treachery............"

Yeah I just wonder what happen to her
I'm bummed. Kiran Chetry was the best reason to tune into Fox on Saturday mornings.
There's another thead here about it when it happened.
I've seen her substituting for Anderson Pooper-Scooper, and various other shows, sometimes working alongside that cookie-cutter anchor John Roberts.
I really liked her on Fox the one morning about two weeks ago or so she was subbing for Soldad on CNN morning news.
More recently I have seen her in the background on Paula Zahn doing little bits here and there.
She really looks unhappy and out of place at CNN. She was a bubbly person on Fox and now you can see here forcing smiles out at the camera.
Maybe she will claim her civil rights were violated (not cute enough).

She's at CNN now so I'm sure she's not as happy. E.D. has her own show and the other 2 hosts Mike and the other blond are doing a show together like Regis & Kelly.

I see that her agent thought a bump up from $300,000 to $400,000 wasn't enough and started with $800,000 a year and an effort to put the bump-off ito her contract.
Then obscurity
I can't stand that Gretchen. She has absolutely no chemistry with the two guys and comes across as a doofus. Sometimes she even sounds as if she's lecturing them.
Kiran Chetry is really cute.
Like a mix of Sandra Bullock and Jacinda Barrett.
Old news and has been discussed ad nauseum here but I do miss her. I don't watch Fox and Friends anymore because of Gretchen.
