Loosen the panties a bit, you're turning blue
I don't wear panties, smart guy. But once Novak realized early on what Fitzgerald was up to, he should have come forward and blown the whole inquisition out of the water.
He didn't, and that is why he'll be remembered as just one more sleazy journalist.

Actually, I hope he does run. It will be a hard choice between Hunter and Thompson, either would be excellent.

The major rap against Thompson is that he was not a hard worker during his eight years in the Senate. That by definition is THE PERFECT SENATOR! The one that works hardest is working hardest to strip more freedoms away from you! Hard working McCain gave us Campain Finance. Worked hard on it for years! Bye bye freedom of speech!

Thompson/Hunter-08
Hunter's alright, but I'd rather at least one man on the ticket have significant executive experience. Personally, I prefer the VP as XO model. I'd have to hear more about his politics, but I've always respected John Abizaid.

Did you actually read Novak's column that broke the Joe Wilson Blowhard Scandal? My question is why was Novak the only one (Print or TV Media) who seemed to notice that something was terribly wrong about that whole deal. Fitzgerald ordered Novak not to talk about his source (Armittage). Armittage could have stopped this whole mess from the get-go. Valerie lied under oath to Congress. Will she be prosecuted like Scooter? Her CIA memo stands as hard evidence that she recommended her blabbermouth egomaniac husband to go to Niger. Then she lies about that and no one calls her on it. So why are you blaming Novak? So far, he has been right on the money.

i want Hunter because he was my first choice before Thompson became a possibility... plus it could puts him in as incumbent VP to run eight years later.

We need a Republican Teresa Heinz? Why didn't you ask about her Hollywood bosom???? A bunch of Republican voters are Senior fuddy duddies like me! Perhaps we can say she is just letting it all nearly hang out for full disclosure of the candidate's assets. I am unusually mean this a.m. but I do say true.

I understand that, and it makes good sense. I'm just saying that in wartime, we need men in the executive branch who need as little on-the-job training as possible when it comes to running something as vast and complicated as the federal national security bureaucracy. I'm less worried about who's going to run in 2016 than on who's going to govern until then.

"You're not supposed to change the title. Now it'll be posted again by someone else under the right title."
In this case it makes more sense to change the title as the part of the article he intended to post had nothing to do with "W". I would not have looked at it if it had the title "W" Opting Out.

I don't wear panties, smart guy. It's an expression, dumb ass. (if I'm a "smart guy" then you
must be a dumb ass for not knowing it's an expression)
But once Novak realized early on what Fitzgerald was up to, he should have come forward and blown the whole inquisition out of the water.
NOVAK: Well I can't talk about anything that I have done. But I would say that it's, to me, very interesting that all these leaks on the grand jury are not coming from the grand jury, or, as far as I know, or from the special prosecutor, they are coming from lawyers for various people who are participating in it, or the participants themselves. Which is a little bit on the unusual side.
Actually, in my first interview with Fitzgerald after he was named special prosecutor, he indicated that he knew Armitage was my leaker. I assumed that was the product of detective work by the FBI. In fact, Armitage had turned himself in to the Justice Department three months before Fitzgerald entered the case, without notifying the White House or releasing me from my requirement of confidentiality.
Again, your angst is directed at the wrong person. Just how much "power" do you believe this person you despise so much has?

"W" Opting Out (Fred Thompson's Wife Urges Run For White House!)
Such a simple solution.
Would you still have passed on by without looking?
