Giuliani is Clear Favourite in Pennsylvania (beats HC by 4 pts)

Republican Rudy Giuliani could win the Keystone State in the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. 46 per cent of respondents in Pennsylvania would support the former New York City mayor, while 42 per cent would vote for Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Giuliani also holds a seven-point lead over Illinois senator Barack Obama, and a nine-point edge over former North Carolina senator John Edwards.

In other match-ups, Arizona senator John McCain is tied with Obama, trails Rodham Clinton by one point, and leads Edwards by one point. The three Democratic presidential hopefuls hold the upper hand in contests against former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

In 2004, Democratic nominee John Kerry carried Pennsylvania’s 21 electoral votes, with 51 per cent of the vote. No Republican has won the Keystone State since George H. Bush in 1988.

".....I haven't decided who I will vote for yet. I like to see facts before I make a decision. The one candidate I will not consider is Duncan Hunter because of Free Republic. All of his supporters are mean and nasty. It's a horrible way to judge a candidate but that is what all of you have done. I am sure I am not the only one who has made this decision based on the level that his supporters have gone down to. I am not a mean and miserable person like his supporters are. I also am willing to listen to the other side which none of his supporters will do."

These vile nasty people have also turned me against Duncan Whatshisname. I wouldn't vote for him now if he was the only one running.

"......I am disgusted by all of you. I doubt there is not one Rudy supporter who will not support whomever the Republican candidate might be.

For FReeper Rudy supporters, I am sure you are right. But, to be clear, is is not the case that the "moderates" or whatever you want to call them, always stand by the party. When the moderates lost the Virginia Senate nomination to Ollie North, they bolted the party. The same happened when Brett Schundler, a great man, was the nominee for Governor in New Jersey.

Actually, there are two. One is you as you said in this post. The other is Katie, from her post 101.

".....i know you are putting it in context. i don't NEED you to do that for me, because i know where it came from. i am simply stating that when used by the opposition against him they are NOT going to be putting it in your context. it can be used against him simply because it exists and it would be better for him if it did NOT exist. i know that a rudyfan doesn't want to admit to any wrinkle in the seamless garment that is rudy, but it just happens to be true that it will be used against him............."

No doubt some will try but I think the American people are basically pretty smart. They will see it for what it is, a high profile Mayor poking fun at himself by dressing in drag for a charitable event. As I said, no big deal. They are most likely to be on his side if the opposition gets really nasty about this.

We FReepers who will not support Rudy are also being called
"vile" and "vicious". But when they say we don't need the christian vote, they post a picture of Jimmy Swaggart crying
"I have sinned". I guess to them, Swaggart IS christianity.

But we are the vile ones, doncha know : )

"rudy has a trailerload of ammo for them to use against him. but the rudyfans put their fingers in their ears and hum hail to the chief, thinking it is all going to be ok."

You can say that again. By the time the MSM gets finished with him, Rudy will be mincemeat and Hillary will be president.

Since when is 4 points a clear win? What's the margin of error on this poll? I supstect 4 points is more like a dead heat.

Anyone know how the 20/20 expose went last night? I haven't found a thread on it and expected to see one here.
