"....i am merely pointing out that it requires quite a bit of naivete to think that a photo of a presidential candidate, ANY presidential candidate, will not be used against them by their opposition....."
I am not being naive because they are being used "ad nauseum" by certain anti-rudy people on FR as we speak. And yes, they will be used by opposition in the general election too. But to suggest that the photos will be more important than issues, administrative experience and leadership, will most likely be true for those who would not vote for Rudy under any circumstances. Many times I've asked posters to mutually commit to backing the official Republican nominee, but very few takers.

Where I come from, people that can't distinguish comedy from reality usually don't vote.

Good to hear that. As said before I'll support the eventual nominee too. Good luck with your candidate.

You didn't convince me the FIRST time you posted the color-coded chart. You're not going to convince me the FIFTIETH time you posted it. However, I uphold your right to post it a THOUSAND times if you wish.

Your disgusting anti-religious bigotry is at least as distasteful as what you accuse the "Religious Right" of.

".......How much campaign support should one give to someone like Rudy, versus spending one's money on other things (either supporting candidates in other races, buying more guns and ammo, or whatever)? I would suggest that many conservatives would opt to spend their time and money on things other than supporting a Giuliani candidacy. Do you think conservatives would be wrong to do so, or do you not think the loss of such campaign support would be a problem?......"
I think every Republican, whether they be ultra conservative or Moderate, should weigh ALL the issues we are facing as a nation and make an informed decision, using their heart and their head. We are faced with some very serious threats from the Islamists who want to transform the planet to conform to their twisted ideology. The Dems seem to think "Global Warming" is the issue of this century but most of us think the global war on terrorism is the primary issue. We need experience, strength and someone who understands the threats. Someone who has a plan. We don't need a prima donna who wants to sit back and be begged to enter the race. Either he has the fire in the belly and runs with it, or he doesn't. People have to make their own choices for their own reasons. And we can all hope our choices end up being the best we can make for the country in a time of war.

Rudy would return the republican party to it's REAL DESTINY, that of limited government, personal responsibility and protecting the country."
I'm willing to go out on a limb and say, we will see this statement is BS.

One thing some of you forget is Rudy is a politician and doesn't give a $hit about you.He will happily help usher in the Norte Americano Union, but on the other hand, any of them are going to do it.
