I am ticked at Nifong,but I am also ticked at the coward who refuses to prosecute that black woman who started this whole thing.
She deserves jail time too.
Also where is Jesse jackson and Al Sharptons apology,and where is the apology of the 88 idiot professors.
I hope they never get another good nights sleep after trying to hang these young men.
Two things that make my post meaningless.
The professors could care less. They dont have a conscience among them, and the black girl would never get convicted in Carolina as long as one black was on the jury.
IMO, the DA held off prosecuting the stripper as an appeasement to the ‘community’....(am I being clear?)
Sarge, he said at the press conference that due to her mental problems prosecuting her would "not be in the interest of justice." Translated from politicianspeak, I believe that means "I'm running for higher office and I cant afford to alienate her demographic."
I think the thinking goes that evidently this women has SERIOUS mental problems, thus would be unlikely to be convicted. I don’t blame him for this, and I doubt the families do either. There are crazy people out there— you expect those in power to not use them.
Not so sure of this. The next prosecutor is going to have a very difficult time taking a REAL rape case, particularly one perpetrated against a black person, seriously. That’s going to to be damage money won’t fix.

Yeah, and their excuse to not charge her is because she has known mental problems; which is just one more nail in Nifong’s coffin as far as I’m concerned.
They should file a WRIT OF MANDAMUS to force the prosecutor to do his job and file charges against her AND Nifong.
