Hey Tinman!
Nope..he is HOME!!!
He almost retired(June) after 27 years in the USMC as a reservist for most of the time~
He was deployed for 2003 to Cali and Kuwait.
Rough year for the family made completely DOABLE by how VERY PROUD we were of him and the MISSION!

We are up here in the Republik of WA so FR was where I garnered almost all of my support while he was away.

I sent Glinda a note the other day to tell you THANK YOU for supporting our fighting men and women!
WE SO APPRECIATE YOU ALL AND WHAT YOU DO!!!!

(I will send the note on to you as well!)

Your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!

Especially your daughter and Katie..

My time over here, while never really "pleasant", would have been much easier had I not been forced to also deal with this business. I'm just thankful for the advances in communication technology. When I was in Iran, back in '77, it was strictly "snail" mail.

Folks, I know what happens to my granddaughter and family isn't going to change the world. However, it will change our world, forever, should we lose this fight.

I ask that each of you that read this thread and this post consider sending e-mails and/or make phone calls to DHS, in Creek County, OK. Let them know that my family and I are not alone. Send them a message that the whole world may not be watching, but a whole bunch of FReepers sure are.

Thank you for all your help. Right now I am drafting a letter to the Oklahoma Bar Assn. regarding the actions, or lack thereof, of the presiding judge. Unless I miss my guess he is required to at least listen to both sides. He has blantanly refused to hear our side or even look at the documents that clearly show that Katie was ill, not neglected. I guess a little power is a dangerous thing indeed.

Here is a good one. It seems that Ms Glenn-Borts has gone and told my ex-husband that they, meaning DHS, can do anything they want. We will just see about that. She figured out that she approved him for foster placement last year and he was and is over the legal age limit at the time. I dont know how this witch sleeps at night.
