AND he was driving a massive, gas guzzling, global warming, low fuel economy, Chevy Tahoe SUV!!!!
PS - It also probably saved his life!
PSS - What are the odds of the red pickup that caused all this (and is still on the loose) was driven by an illegal immigrant...

Not wearing his seat belt on his way to a meeting that he had no business attending, huh? Tempting fate a little, there Corzine?

Most liberals lack common sense.
I hope he recovers.

Corzine was the third straight New Jersey governor to break a leg while in office. Hmm.

I am sure he wanted to pass laws requiring everyone else to do the same.

Corzine, 60, did not suffer any brain damage in the crash.
How would you tell the difference?

Corzine was also smoking cigarettes, drinking beer and loading a handgun while not wearing his seatbelt, crash helmet and safety shoes.
James E. McGreevey broke his left leg in 2002 during a nighttime walk on the beach
How do you break your leg walking on the beach?

The trooper should receive an official reprimand for not ensuring that everyone in his vehicle was following state-mandated safety procedures, that of wearing a seat belt.

Who was the aide? None of the articles I have seen have given a name.
To: Bluestateredman
No, but his driver will be fired for not requiring him to wear them. Of course, if Corrizine was required to wear them, the driver would have been fired. After all, Laws are only for the little people.

I wonder how fast the State Trooper was driving Corzine’s SUV? Remember, speed limits do not apply to cops.

I'm sorry he sustained some serious injuries, but why didn't the Trooper dribving give him a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt?
Will he cut a check to New Jersey for the amount of that fine?

Hope he’s fined $150-$200 for not clicking it given that politicians have pushed the seatbelt laws to the limit on we consumers.
