Where is all that support that was supposed to fall off from Giuliani after Republican's become more familiar with his positions? Could it be that the social conservatives are actually the ones who are out of touch?

Rudy is like Reagan in a key respect: the criticism seems to flow off him like water on a duck. Part of that is the fact that people admire and respect him; part is the fact that he is out campaigning, working very hard for the job, and people like to see that, particularly in the primary when we are trying to assess how hard a candidate will fight in the general.

Of course, I am referencing Thompson here, who is still waiting to be coronated.

61% of polled Republicans didn’t want any of the top three.

I don’t think its conservatives that are out of touch.

Rudy is nothing like Reagan, and I’m not even huge fan of Reagan.
